The surge in demand for computing power is outpacing the world's available capacity.
This supply, demand imbalance has led to:
High costs: Cloud computing solutions like Amazon Web Services are expensive and slow.
Sustainability issues: Data centers are constrained by physical space, energy requirements, and environmental concerns.
This week’s company sustainably and cost-effectively transforms any idle PC into a server that can collectively power the internet.
Hyperlink turns idle computer GPUs into a supercomputing network, enabling users to monetize passively while powering AI, Blockchain, and Cloud workloads on the internet.
GPUs: Graphics processing units are essentially the chips responsible for computing power.
Network: Hyperlink expands computing capacity by activating GPUs and CPUs from idle computers both at home and work.
Monetize: Users can effortlessly earn up to $4,000 per PC yearly by downloading the Hyperlink app and allowing the network to tap their computer’s processing power.
Bulleted Version
🌎 Market opportunity: In the NASDAQ's tech sector, the top eight companies collectively hold a market value of $11 trillion, with about a third, or $3.7 trillion, coming directly from computing.
Hyperlink's opportunity in this space is significant, as tapping into even a small fraction of the global computing market could lead to substantial revenue growth.
🔀 Diverse revenue streams: Hyperlink's GPU network, adept at processing cloud computing, AI models, and blockchain workloads, is strategically positioned to capture emerging opportunities across these dynamic tech sectors.
🍀 Environmentally conscious: Hyperlink's sharing economy model significantly lessens environmental impacts by repurposing idle GPUs for computing demand, reducing the need for new hardware production.
🌎 Data and privacy: Hyperlink may need to address user concerns about privacy, as their model involves using personal computers for external purposes, necessitating clear communication and education about their privacy safeguards.
📈 Hardware prices: Hyperlink's model might inadvertently increase GPU prices by creating a new demand for computing resources, which would fuel the problem they are attempting to solve.
🤝 Mass Adoption Requirement: The success of Hyperlink's GPU network hinges on widespread participation, requiring extensive outreach and convincing a vast number of GPU owners to join their platform.
Coreweave: Backed by Magnetar Capital and others.
Lambda: Backed by 1517, Bloomberg Beta, Invariantes Fund, and others.
WhyHyperlink
By powering the internet through idle computers, Hyperlink’s asset-light model could fulfill the global computing demand, taking a megabyte out of AWS’ market hold.
